These traps are fantastic. Had 5 pair (10 total) for 3 years now and are solid and working good as new. I've trapped about 50 moles in this time, and never lost a single trap. I just tie two traps together with string and tie a loop in the middle of the string, then place a small stick through the loop and stick it into the ground so that the stick acts as both the anchor to the traps and a... I read the review of the man from Tennessee and suggest he get a larger trap, marketed by Trapline, for larger moles and other similar sized pests. Also, Trapline is clear in their instructions to attach a line to the loop at the back of the product and stake it above ground so a wounded mole cannot back into his tunnel taking the product with him. I have two pincher style traps and two Trapline mole traps. My success rate with the Trapline traps started on the second day of use. One mole in the Trapline and zero in the pincher. It continued from there with the Trapline scoring 5 to 1 over the pincher, I even got a double out of one trail. The Trapline traps are very easy to set and place while the pincher style traps are difficult to... Read more

I've had 100% success with Steve's Traps and have caught 89 moles here on my 14 acres over the past 2 1/2 years. JOHN I loan out my traps as well and have never had a complaint about not catching the mole......I used Victor traps and they were rusty and bypassed many times, as well as hard to set and to load. Trapline Traps are Stainless steel, and never rust. Just drop them into a... Read more

I bought a set of 4 Trapline mole traps which turned out to be rather flimsy wire devices with a spring costing $6 each. I don't know if our moles in Tennessee are bigger than the ones the manufacturer has in California, but there's no way these little devices can kill one of our moles. I wrote to the maker and he said it should work fine. Well our moles figured out a way to spring the... Read more
