My favorite trap. The biggest reason is that when installed they are compleatly under the sod.
I do not have to worry about hurting some kid, or pet. And it is much less likely to be ripped off. Just to be double safe, I place a 1' by 1' scrap of plywood over the trap, with HOLE written on it. But watch the online instruction "twice" and keep the front end of the trap down in the soil a little.
I like to prop the back end up just a little bit on a small mound of dirt. When you do it right it is fast to install and out of sight, and effective. The only downfall is that you can not see if it is tripped. But you should probabaly move any trap after two days anyway.
Do not be discouraged if you do not catch a mole the first day.
The trap can only catch a mole that travels through that trail. Moles are real unpredictable.
